Technical Sales Manager (m/f) Location: Soest

You will provide advices and support to our customers across Agema's platform (HW+SW) with good technological knowledge and sales skill. In addition, you assist colleagues to get project/tender from a technical point of view. Acting as a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre and after-sales advice and liaising regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as: research, design, production, sales, marketing and etc.

Your Challenge

Research and analyze SDN/NFV trends, markets, products and competitors, including the requirements of bare-metal / white box from target customers

Searching for new clients who might benefit from our Agema products (open network switches) or services and maximizing client potential

Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements

Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery

Prepare / arrange / providing training for customers and producing support material for the sales team

Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education

Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs

Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects

Your Profile

Master degree in computer science, networking or telecommunication

More than years working experience in Networking / Telecommunication / Datacenter

Good understanding of Networking Architecture (HW+SW)

Good understanding of SDN, NFV, Open Networking Architecture and applications for Datacenter, Carriers and Enterprise

Good understanding of SDN/NFV related topics: OpenStack, SDN Controllers, NFV application, etc.

English and German fluent in spoken and written

Outgoing personality with good presentation skill

Familiar with Word / Excel / PowerPoint
